A reminder - All Moodle classes are HIDDEN until you make them visible. If you don’t want to use Moodle you don’t have to do anything, the class will be invisible to students. If you want to use your Moodle class follow these steps to make it visible.

1. Log onto Moodle
   
2. You will see the courses that belong to you under My Courses (upper left-hand side of the screen)
   
3. Click on the plus (+) sign next to Spring 2012
   
4. Click on the class you want to make visible
   
5. Click on Settings (in the Administration box inside the class)
   
6. Scroll down to the Availability box
   
7. Click the down arrow next to Availability and Choose
   
• "This course is available to students"
  
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes
9. If Moodle won't save and you get the message "Short name is already used for another course" add S12 (for Spring 2012) to the short name
   
10. Repeat for each class that needs to be visible

Attention Students!

If you encounter problems with pop-up blockers on your internet browser, please follow the instructions below to resolve it.

Try this first:
Hold down the Control key as you click (i.e. while clicking on "Attempt this quiz")

If that does not fix the problem try the following:
There may be more than one pop-up blocker in your browser. One is the browser itself, another may be your Google toolbar which contains a pop-up blocker as well.

If you are using Internet Explorer:

1. Go to Tools menu and select Pop-up Blocker -> Pop-up Blocker Settings
2. Enter http://cms.whittier.edu and click the Add button. You can also add another entry like *.whittier.edu to allow pop-ups for all Whittier servers.
   

If you are using Firefox:

1. Go to Tools menu and select Options.
   
2. Click the Content tab.
   
3. Click the Exceptions button for Block Pop-up Windows.
   
4. Enter *.whittier.edu and click Allow button to allow pop-ups for all Whittier sites.
   

To disable Google toolbar pop-up blocker, click on the icon to allow pop-ups.
